Beat The Heat At The Ranger Pool

There’s lots of fun going on at the Ranger City Pool this year including swimming lessons, ladies water aerobics and just splashing around on a hot summer day! Pool Manager Tricia Fox has worked hard to ensure that Eastland County residents will have a blast when they bring their families to swim. The pool has never looked better and there is a great crew of lifeguards on duty.

Regular pool hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 2 to 6 p.m. Special evening hours during the week are Ladies Night on Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Family Night, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. Admission prices are $2 for adults, $1 for ages 5 to 18, and 50 cents for the little ones 4 and under. Private parties are available by phoning the pool at 254-647-1833.

Kay Levi has scheduled the next session of basic swim classes and water safety to be held beginning Tuesday, July 6, through Saturday, July 17. Classes are offered to ages 4 through adult. Cost is $40 for a two-week session (classes held Tuesday through Saturday each week). Each class is 45 minutes in length, and specific class times will be determined based on the age and skill level of students. For more information, please call Kay at 682-554-5964 (cell phone) or 254-647-1626 (home phone).

Another activity tentatively being formed is a ladies water exercise class on Tuesday evenings (if enough women are interested in participating). The cost is $5 per session. Please express your interest by phoning Kay Levi at one of the above telephone numbers.

The Ranger City Pool is making a cool splash in these hot summer months, so stop on by and join the fun!
