Bobbie June McCullochBobbie June McCulloch, 81, of Cisco passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009, in Abilene.

Services will be Sunday at the First Baptist Church, Cisco at 2:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Howard Stovall and Reverend Terrell Jackson. Burial, officiated by Reverend Bill Armstrong, will follow in the Scranton Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 5~7:00 PM in the Kimbrough Funeral Chapel.

Bobbie June was born January 23, 1928, to Lester Bird and Loma Alta (Deal) Stewart in Eastland. She graduated from Scranton High School in 1945. She married George Woodard McCulloch on May 30, 1945. He preceded her in death May 5, 1990, after 45 good years of marriage.

She was a homemaker for 60 plus years and served on many committees including serving as an election judge. She helped reopen Mitchell Baptist Church of the Dan Horn Community. She also drove a school bus and helped in the cafeteria at Putnam ISD. She was a member of the Putnam Quilting Club where she helped make heirloom quilts for her family, friends and the West Texas Rehab Center. Her Chocolate Pies were famous at the Scranton Community Center.

Bobbie June was best known for her tender loving care of others, her smile and her sense of humor. She and her friends did their part in keeping Texas Beautiful by picking up aluminum cans from the roadside. She loved to garden and can fresh fruits and vegetables.

Bobbie June loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her church family and friends.

Survivors include sons, Ken McCulloch and wife, Mary, of Cisco, Ted McCulloch and wife, Sharron, of Cisco, Bryan McCulloch and wife, Cindy, of Stephenville, Robert McCulloch and wife, Renee, of Cisco; daughter, Tammy McCulloch Douglas and husband, Scott, of Cisco; grandchildren, Misty Bussell, Brandi Daliege, Bridget McCulloch, Holli Sloniker, Kelly Fouts, Nicky King, Kristi McAdoo, April Steward, Heath McCulloch, Mark Edens, Bryan Edens, Regina Macias; great-grandchildren, Frasier Bussell, Isaac King, Gage Fouts, Addison Daliege and Kenzie King.
