RANGER- Bonnie Hatton, 83, passed away March, 27, 2010, in Lubbock, TX. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Bullock Cemetery with Rev. Ronny Guess officiating, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.
Bonnie was born on August 22, 1926 in Desdemona to William Henry and Eula Amazon (Wisdom) Jacobs. She started school at Alameda and graduated from Gorman High School. She married Dalton Hatton on August 12, 1948 in Rockwall. She worked for the Strawn Bank for a time, Hollywood Vassarette and Sears in Lubbock for 15 years. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Ranger and Redbud Baptist Church in Lubbock. Mr. Hatton preceded her in death on January 18, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Geraldine Gentry and Billie Gosdin; and a brother, Bill “Jr.” Jacobs.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki McEachern & husband David of Lubbock; 2 sons, Rickey T. Hatton & wife Ann of Lubbock and Dickie Hatton & wife Tricia of Olden; a brother, Tommy Jacobs of Houston; 2 sisters, June Jacobs of Desdemona and Jo Redwine of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jimmy Don Perrin, Julie McEachern Rogers & Dustin, Jeffery McEachern & Traci, David Hatton & Lauren, Luke Hatton & Laura, and Matthew Hatton; great-grandchildren, Tyler Roy Rogers, Wyatt Rogers, Kenzie and Kadence McEachern, and Shelby Hatton.
