Cheryl Diane Wilson of Ranger

Cheryl Diane Wilson, 62, of Ranger left this world on the wings of angels Friday, September 17, 2010. She was born in Ft. Worth, TX, August 30, 1948 to R.J. and Wilda Turpin. Services were held Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Leon River Cowboy Church with Pastor Paul Howie officiating. Burial was held at Alameda Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She married Tony Bryant in 1966 until his death in 1988. Together they had two children Christy Diane and Tony Ray. In 1992, Cheryl married Michael Wilson. They lived in Red Oak, TX, until March 2010. She then resided in Ranger, TX, with her daughter where she attended Leon River Cowboy Church.
Although her job title was office manager, her real role in life was to be “Nana.” Her greatest moments in life always included God, her grandbabies and her horses.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband Tony, her father R.J. Turpin, baby brother Roland Wayne and son-in-law Ricky Herrera.

Nana is survived by her mother Wilda Turpin, husband Mike Wilson, daughter Christy Herrera, son Tony Bryant, grandbabies Colton and Carson Herrera and Brittany Bryant, and her brother Melvin Turpin and his wife Sandy. She is also survived by her niece Rhonda Daily and husband Scott, their children Codye and Corye, her nephew Marney Turpin and wife Sharon and their children Dustin and Michella. Survivors also include a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and the entire Herrera clan.
