Two city council seats and the position of mayor are up for election on May 8.   As of this morning, no applications for ballots have been filed with the city secretary.   The deadline to file is March 8 by 5:00 p.m.  The council seats up for election are presently filled by Kevin West and Carl Frazier.  David Day is the mayor of Strawn.
