Eastland Police Department Implements Online Reporting

Chief Cecil Funderburgh of Eastland Police Department announced today that a new website is available to citizens of Eastland that will allow online reporting of incidents, offenses, and traffic problems.

The website, located at https://eastland.bobcop.com, is primarily funded by a grant from the National Rural Law Enforcement Association.  It allows citizens to make reports, request house watches, and get information about wanted persons, missing persons, and registered sex offenders.

In addition, the website allows citizens to receive law enforcement news and emergency alerts for the Eastland area via email by subscribing, free of charge, to the service.  In the near future, this site will also provide cell phone text message alerts for those who are not near a computer.

“Eastland Police Department continues to enhance communications capabilities to keep the citizens of Eastland informed, and to provide more convenient law enforcement services”, said Chief Funderburgh.
