Ida “Bee” Douglas 87, of Cisco passed away Friday July 9, 2010 in Homestead Nursing Center, graveside services are 2:00 PM Sunday in Oakwood Cemetery officiated by Reverend Zach Tunnell and under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Douglas was born in Silsbee, Texas on June 27, 1923 to James Marvin and Florence Olivia (Martin) Wynn. She married Clarence Freeman Douglas, Sr. in April of 1943 in Fort Stockton, Texas; he preceded her in death in 1986. She was a homemaker and a retired desk clerk at Sunday House Inn in Pecos, Texas and attended Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Wynn, Marvin Wynn and Martin Wynn; sister, Elizabeth Cress and daughter, Cathryn Kennedy and son, Clarence Freeman Douglas, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Doulas and husband George of Cisco; grandchildren, April DiCarlo and husband Richard of Fort Worth, Airon Iversen and husband Tyler of Harker Heights; Amy Parten and husband Todd of Cisco, and Jimmy Kennedy and wife Amber of Wolfforth; great grandchildren, Amber and Kathryn DiCarlo, Haleigh and Reid Iversen, Makayla and Kelsey Parten, Michael and Casey Kennedy.
