Jennifer Bradley Ford of Eastland passed from this life into the presence of her Savior on August 1, 2010. She was 50 years old. Her life was too short, but very meaningful. She gave generously to so many without seeking recognition. We rejoice in knowing that on Sunday evening she received the greatest of all acknowledgements from her Lord and Savior.
She was born to Earl C. Bradley, Jr. and Billye Bankston Bradley on December 4, 1959, in Tyler, Texas. She was a graduate of Eastland High School and Texas A&M University where she was a charter member of Delta Delta Delta. She married Stephens Taylor Ford on April 13, 1997. Together, they owned and operated Lakeside Golf Club in Eastland. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Eastland, Community Bible Study and was active in the Emmaus Community. Jenni was a loyal Aggie, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers fan as well as a faithful member of the Lakeside Ladies golf group. Her family and many friends will miss her wit, her laugh, and her smile.
She is survived by her husband, Taylor of Eastland, her mother, Billye Bradley of Eastland, sister Leslie Bradley Keffer and husband Jim of Eastland, brothers E.T. Bradley of Eastland County, and Jeff Bradley and wife Vicki of Eastland. She was beloved “AJ” to her niece and nephews: Brad Keffer of Austin, Chris Keffer, wife Ashley, and daughter Brooklyn Claire of Fort Worth, Rob Keffer of New York City, Madison and Miles Bradley of Eastland, and Gene Bradley of Eastland. She was preceded in death by her father.
Burial will be at the family ranch, Ten Shy, with a memorial service on Thursday, August 5th at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Eastland. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home from 5-7 on Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastland Meals on Wheels (P. O.
