oy Couch, 77, of San Antonio, died Thursday, June 25, 2009. A visitation will be Saturday, July 11 at 3 p.m. at Summers-Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco with a graveside service to follow at 4 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco under the direction of the Summers-Chambers Funeral Home.
San Antonio, passed away on June 25, 2009 at the age of 77 after a brief illness. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Summers-Chambers Funeral Home in Cisco with a memorial service at the funeral home chapel to follow at 4:00 pm. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco under the direction of the Summers-Chambers Funeral Home.
Joy Nell Lenz was born on September 7, 1931 in Roscoe, TX to Henry Albert and Bertha (Wilson) Lenz. A multi-talented seamstress and costume designer, chef, and avid painter of landscapes and still-life’s, she was employed as an aide in the Special Education department of Cisco Primary School for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bertha Lenz. Joy is survived by her husband of 56 years, James; her daughter and son-in-law Tracey and John Ingram of San Antonio; her son, Stephen Couch of Fort Worth; her two granddaughters, Hannah and Hattie Hughes of San Antonio; brothers Doyle and Drayton Lenz, sisters Laverne Slatton and Mona Partain, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beloved wife, mother, and friend…she will be missed.
