HPRNetwork is proud to join the Central Texas community with the introduction of the all new KCUB. The KCUB radio station started airing a music signal last weekend. The radio station is sounding pretty generic right now, but the new crew is working hard to get all of the new programming in place and everything working properly. The station can be heard at two locations on the dial. The FM 98.5 dial position is the signal that serves the Ranger, Cisco and Eastland areas. The FM 107.9 dial position serves the Stephenville area.
KCUB will offer a large variety of programming. Primarily the station will offer a REAL COUNTRY music format, meaning that you will hear the hit songs of today and only the greatest songs of the past, that will feature country gold from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. It is a format that anyone can listen to and play at home, in the cars with the kids and at the office. In addition to offering news from the Texas State News Network, world news from ABC, Ag news and markets from VSA, you will soon hear that KCUB will be the exclusive home for all NASCAR racing events heard live. Most importantly, KCUB will be a local radio station. We are proud to offer news and information about local events for all of the area clubs, schools and organizations. High school sports will be a major product of KCUB. We will cover as many local scheduled events as we can along with heavy play-off coverage.
The new staff of KCUB welcomes your comments and suggestions. For more information please call 254-968-7459, or you can send a fax to us at 254-968-6258. We have a long way to go, but we are working hard every day to accomplish as much as possible and truly hope to become your favorite hometown radio station.
