Kenneth Jay Osborn, Sr., 69, of Cisco passed away May 24, 2010, at his home. Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Eastland First Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Mike Evans and assisted by Dr. Shawn Brewer. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born May 28, 1940, to Kenneth Perry and Mayme Nell (Johnston) Osborn in Los Angles, CA. The family moved to Abilene, Texas, where he attended the Abilene Public Schools. He and Lenora Latham were married June 21, 1958, in Cisco.
Kenneth was a truck driver for many years. He also worked on the Alaskan Pipeline while it was under construction. He loved to fish, camp and tell stories. More than anything else, he cherished his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Eastland.
Survivors include his wife, Lenora, of Cisco; sons, Randall Osborn and wife, Dawn, of North Richland Hills, and Kevin Scott Osborn and wife, Michelle, of Euless; sisters, Jackie Brewer and husband, Sonny, of Hurst, Pat Colwell and husband, Jim, of Amarillo, Lynda Clair and husband, Gary, of Watauga, Glynda Parks and husband, Tommy, of Round Rock, and Chris Baber of Abilene; grandchildren, Mindy Osborn, Tyler Young, Matthew Osborn, and Kendall Osborn; great grandchildren, Logan Osborn and Landry Medialdea.
Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Jay Osborn, Jr.
Pallbearers are Gary Clair, Jim Colwell, Sonny Brewer, Tommy Parks, Christopher Baber and Lewis Adams.
