Beginning Monday, March 15, crews will begin work on installing the twelve inch water main from the City Park down Neblett Street to Plummer and ending at Daugherty. This is opposite from the original plan to begin at Daugherty and go west toward Park Hill.
Crews will be testing the new six inch water main on South Seaman between Valley and Garvin and the new twelve inch water line on Daugherty between Commerce and Plummer.
Additional crews will be installing services (tie-ins) on West Valley between South Daugherty and South Dixie.
Boring crews will be locating lines and boring at the City Park, down Plummer to Daugherty and on Marsh between Foch and Pershing. This work should be ongoing for about a month.
Please remember when travelling in these ‘construction’ areas to be on the alert and watch for crew members as well as heavy equipment.
Residents and businesses in the areas are also reminded water service interruptions may be necessary at times during the work.
