The Eastland Rifle & Pistol Club will host a LADIES PERSONAL PROTECTION COURSE January 30th, 9 a.m. at the Gun Club Class Room located near Ringling Lake .
The course will be free and will focus on how ladies can learn to protect themselves.
If the weather is bad we will meet in at the Bethel Baptist Church for the instructional meeting in the Fellowship Hall.
All ladies are welcome to the self protection session.
Limitations for the firearms session: No criminal felony convictions or outstanding pending warrants, no family violence convictions and/or history of mental illness, not addicted to drugs or alcohol.
You may know someone that would like to take the course. We are taking names and will have as many sessions as needed.
We will learn how to shoot a pistol. If you have one you will need at least 25 cartridges for your gun. If you do not have one we will have a .22 caliber and cartridges provided at no cost.
The class will be conducted by a qualified handgun instructor. ER&PC has a first rate facility and supports many educational efforts such as this, including hunter safety classes, and 4-H shooting sports.
