M.F. (Malcom) Williamson of Eastland

Our precious husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, M.F. (Malcom) Williamson, walked into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 10, 2009. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held Monday, December 14, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Eastland with Dr. Shawn Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 6 ~ 8 P.M. at Edwards
Funeral Home.

M. F. was born on December 30, 1928 in Morton Valley, Texas to Bon and Nola Jane Williamson. He attended Morton Valley schools and lived in Eastland County almost his whole life. M.F. married Naida West in Abilene, Texas on June 23, 1957. M.F. spent his spare time enjoying his family, working outside, repairing small equipment, and playing the guitar and harmonica.

Preceding M.F. in death were his parents; four brothers, Varner Williamson, Coleman Williamson, B.J. Williamson and Joe Williamson; and 2 grandsons, Alan Gentle and Michael Carter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Naida Williamson; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Mallie Williamson of San Angelo; son, Bobby Williamson of Eastland; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jason Smith of Edom; daughter, Patricia Carter of Eastland; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George Ervin of Abilene; grandchildren, Ginger, Malcom, Amanda, Jodie and Cassie; Dustin and Deana; Timmy, Shannon, Missy and Bradley; Darrell and Tina; Kelly, Kathlinda, and Naida Lynn; brothers, S.L. Williamson of Albany and Dub Williamson of Eastland; sisters, Clara Patterson of Albany, Willie Mae Hudman of Albany, Virgie Beutel of Abilene; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillie and Gene Patton of Eastland, Syble and Bob Hamrick of Eastland and Shirley and Roy Notgrass of Alvarado; sisters-in-law, Patsy Williamson of Abilene, Vonceil Williamson of Ranger and Hattie Williamson of Eastland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Raymond Hamrick, Danny Hamrick, Ronny Williamson, Jerry Scott, Wade Couch and Darrell Smith.
