Marvin "Jack" Ray Leveridge of Breckenridge

Marvin “Jack” Ray Leveridge, 85 of Breckenridge passed away at his home on Saturday February 13, 2010.  A Memorial service at First United Methodist Church in Breckenridge will be 10:00 AM Monday.  Graveside

Services officiated by Reverend Jeff Miller will be 2:00 PM Monday at Scranton Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home in Cisco.

Jack was born in Scranton, Texas on February 19, 1924 to John Chandler and Ethel Lutitia (Jobe) Leveridge.  He served in the US Navy during World War II serving in the Pacific.  He attended Cisco Junior where he received an Associate Degree.  On June 7, 1947 he married Lenoir Beth Addy in Cisco, Texas they were married 59 years before she preceded him in death on September 18, 2006.  Jack worked an independent oil operator.

He is survived by a daughter, Kathryn L. Hoffman and husband Fred of Arlington; son, Michael Ray Leveridge and wife Rosa of Breckenridge and Robert Steven Leveridge and wife Linda of Euless; grandchildren, Kay Waldrep, Coby Rogers, Sara Browning, Michael Leveridge, Brad Leveridge, and Shalea Wooldridge; 12 great grandchildren; nieces Carol Lucas and Susan Addy; and nephew Andy Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and sister, Johnnie King.

Pallbearers are Coby Rogers, Brad Leveridge, Michael Leveridge, Johnny Oats, Jerry Taylor and Dickie Rogers.  The Piranha Coffee Club members and Andy Lucas will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Jack was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
