Orella Bell Callaway, 86 of Cisco passed away Saturday November 21, 2009 at Homestead Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Zachary Tunnell with interment in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation with friends will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
Orella was born in Rotan, Texas on December 6, 1922 to Willie Monroe and Ocie Pearl (Burton) Arrington. She married Harlon Hiram (Shorty) Callaway in Cisco on June 16, 1938, he preceded her in death on December 19, 2006, she was a member of First Baptist Church and worked at Boss Glove Manufacturing for 15 years. Orella was an avid Cisco Lobo fan.
She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Townsend and Betty Farley and husband Gene all of Cisco; son, Robert Monroe Callaway and wife Mary of Denison; brother, Eldred Dee Arrington and wife Betty Jo of Bridgeport, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to West Texas Rehab or American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Gary Callaway, Joseph Townsend, Robert and William Farley, Travis Bundick and Jordon Glen.
