Ranger College, an accredited higher learning center, may step up its academic program in wind energy. The Ranger College Board of Regents to authorize the wind energy curriculum and to authorize new president Dr. William Campion to pursue funding. Tentative Plans call for a steel Wind Technology Building with classrooms, laboratories and restrooms. The initiative is through the cooperation of Ranger College and Texas State Technology Center, West Texas. Students will have the opportunity to earn two certificate programs or a two year associate of applied science degree in Wind Turbine Technology.
