Ranger College Students Learning to Harness The Wind

[imagebrowser id=82]A typical student comment following their initial climb was  “you can see forever from this vantage point.”

Chris Boone, Program Director, accompanied the students to Sweetwater and the wind turbine on Tuesday, October 6, a day that proved even more challenging because the West Texas winds lived up to expectations that day.

Students in this high demand occupation who complete their  two-year course of study routinely earn in excess of $20 an hour and often work overtime.
