Updated 2:30 p.m.
The question is who will lead Ranger as mayor now that Margaret Green has resigned? According to city secretary, Troy Emery, there will be a called special meeting on Monday, July 19. This meeting will be held to allow the remaining three city council members Steve Gerdes, William Destro and Jared Calvert decide which one of them will be appointed as mayor pro tempore. By default, whoever is appointed as mayor pro tempore will automatically become the next mayor of Ranger.
