Robert Monroe Callaway, 68, of Denison and formerly of Cisco passed away in Sherman, TX on Wednesday November 3, 2010. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Oakwood Cemetery officiated by Gene Farley, under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Robert was born in Cisco to H.H. and Orella (Arrington) Callaway on February 2, 1942.
He graduated from Cisco High School. He married Mary Frances Gary in Cross Plains on January 27, 1961. He worked at Crouch Engineering in Fort Worth where he was a Sr. Engineer in food processing and refrigeration. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church in Cisco.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of Denison; son, Gary Callaway and wife Brenda Seagoville, daughter, Jan Glenn and Emilio Zavalo of Sherman; grandchildren, Jordan Glenn, Matthew and Andrew Callaway; sisters, Betty Farley and husband Gene, and Patsy Townsend all of Cisco; preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Lynn Callaway.
