Wanda Cozart, age 78 of Breckenridge, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Stephens Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 7th, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will follow in the Hart Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Wanda Louisa Lassiter was born on February 19, 1932 in Breckenridge, Texas to parents, Burkett Henderson Lassiter and Bessie Mae Lindsey Lassiter. Wanda attended schools in Cisco and Breckenridge. She married Ralph Hue Cozart on March 6, 1953 in Lovington, New Mexico. Following their marriage, Ralph and Wanda lived in West Texas before returning to Breckenridge in 1957. Wanda was a homemaker and worked at Good Eats Bakery and Davis Manufacturing. She enjoyed crocheting and reading and she was an avid John Wayne fan. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one step-son, Jimmy Lusk.
Wanda is survived by one step-daughter, Linda Lusk of Hector, AR; one daughter-in-law, Paula Coffman of Hector, AR; two grandsons, Clint Lusk and Justin Lusk, both of Hector, AR; four great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
